I have always made things but in the past it was always as gifts. After taking an HND in 3D Design I finally began to call myself an artist and begin to sell my work. I love using colour and texture in my work and am heavily influenced by nature. I was predominately a glass artist but now work in mixed media and textiles. This has proved a more satisfying medium for me to express my design ideas. My work edges onto the abstract rather than the pictorial and I almost always use my own photographs as a stepping off point for my designs. I look forward to seeing anyone who wishes to visit my studio.
