My personal work evolves as a creative response to the expression of the inner self, sometimes using spiritual dietys from a variety of cultures as a catalyst. My recent project was based on the mythological creature, ‘The Pheonix’, and reflected the agony of birth and stages of spiritual and emotional growth. I create strength and depth of colour on canvas using many layers and textures in a variety of mixed media and techniques. My watercolour paintings are diverse in content, ranging from pet portraits to church scenes, and have been completed to commission requirements.
