Since I was very young I have always enjoyed painting but now it has become a passion.  I generally use oils to paint portraits of people and watercolours to paint animal portraits and flowers.  However, I also like to experiment with various mediums in order to achieve different effects in colour, mood and texture.
My other passion is for decorating eggs and like my painting is principally self-taught.   I cut or carve the eggs then cover them in fabrics and paints to produce jewellery boxes, clocks and decorative pieces.
