The inspiration for my work comes from the natural world where individuality exists among order .
I enjoy the differences that nature produces within the same species .
I use various techniques – hammering , heating , piercing , etc .- to to hopefully achieve a similar variety , although perhaps using the same basic design .
The semi – precious stones , pearls and shells I use also reflect that .
I recycle materials whenever possible .
