This is the first year that I have exhibited through POAS and I am proud to do so.

I trained as a textile designer in Leicester and have taught Art and Textiles for 13 years.

I am predominately a textile artist, creating individually designed and hand crafted pieces; using a variety of textile techniques and materials. I enjoy working with the colour and tactile quality that fabric and threads provide.

My acrylic on canvas paintings are varied and diverse in style and content, ranging from mystic to modern; often painted to commission requirements.

I am heavily influenced by the colour, tone and texture found in nature. I endeavour to capture the sensation of harmony and calm that studying nature bestows.

The pleasure I gain from seeing others appreciate my work is the reason for opening my studio and garden; so come along and you will be made very welcome.
