Inspired by sea, rivers and lakes I have spent my life in or around water.
Born and bred in the mountains of Wales, I travel with my camera and specialise in the landscape of water.
I have a simple approach to my photography. I take what I see on my walks and scrambles and print the picture as I saw the scene. I try to capture something of the essence of the place. Mostly in black & white I occasionally use colour.
Walking and scrambling up the steep and craggy slopes of the hills, particularly the Cambrian Mountains, provides me with a constantly changing landscape – the rain sees to that. Sailing and racing boats is also a passion and provides the opportunity to see the landscape from a normally unseen perspective. The coast from out to sea and mountains from the middle of a lake take on a very different aura.I hope you like the images.
There are two options for framing;

Classic black
Each print is mounted on white board and a black frame.
Larger or smaller prints can also be purchased.
