Using mainly coils and slabs in varying types of clay, she often allows the nature of the clay to dictate the initial shape of each piece. Incised lines and surface texture are often used to enhance the effect of the glazes.
This year Helen is experimenting with Raku firing. Weekends: 1,2 and 3
